I stubbed my little toe while I was walking around the house in the dark. I had forgotten that the furniture was moved for a dinner party. We cant think as well with a hurt toe because it requires us to focus on it more and takes away from other areas. When we combine all this, it becomes a bigger problem. For convenience, we will designate the location of the "North" pole of this magnetic field to above the human head and the "South" pole below the groin. The magnetic flux lines of this magnetic field will flare outwards at the North pole, circle the bioplasma body and enter the South pole. Within the bioplasma body, the field lines from the South pole will move upwards towards the North pole. The part of the magnetic field that is within the bioplasma body is fairly straight and uniform. The polar vortexes are plasma vortexes that form around the North and South poles. The North polar vortex of a person who is standing would be facing the sky and the South polar vortex would be facing the ground.

Absorption of Super particles

Charged particles in an ionized environment have a tendency to follow magnetic field lines. If the path of the particle is at an angle, i.e. neither parallel nor perpendicular to the magnetic field lines, the particle will spiral around the magnetic field lines using a helical path. If the particle's path is parallel (i.e. 0 degrees) to the magnetic field line it will move along the magnetic field line like beads on a string. If the particle's path is perpendicular (i.e. 90 degrees) to the field line it will circumambulate around the field lines. Most particles, however, would come in at an angle between 0 and 90 degrees and hence would follow a helical path. When the particles plunge they collide with other particles in the ovoid (the "atmosphere" of the bioplasma body), generating a light phenomenon similar to the auroras in the atmosphere at Earth's magnetic poles.

As the magnetic field density increases, the radius of the spiral or the "gyro radius" reduces and the velocity decreases (due to the loss in kinetic energy), in accordance with the formula R = mv/Bq that shows that R, the gyro radius, is proportional to the velocity 'v' and inversely proportional to the strength of the B-field. This process will generate a helical path that will have a cone shape Retrococktails viewed from the side, with the apex of the cone meeting the surface of the bioplasma body. Dynamically, this can be described as a vortex. Since there are many particles streaming down into the bioplasma body, taking slightly different trajectories, smaller vortexes can also appear within a Jonny Quest vortex. Impact of Super particles on Surface of Bioplasma Body

When the particle reaches the bioplasma body, which is much denser than the rest of the ovoid, it impacts the surface of the body at supersonic speeds, producing 3-dimensional shock waves which generate Mach cones. The impact generates circular wave fronts that radiate out from the point of impact (forming a "wave train") and also straight lines from the center to the circumference (like spokes on a wheel). This is similar to what happens when a meteoroid smashes into the surface of the Moon causing impact craters which show similar features. It will exhibit circular wave fronts (which generate concentric circular mountain ranges) and bright streaks of materials (often called "rays") which radiate out from the centre. These impact features are also seen when a bullet hits the windscreen of a car. After impact, the particle is absorbed into the bioplasma body.

These impact features are consistent with features observed by experimental metaphysicist Charles Leadbeater. Based on a scenario where the path of the particle is perpendicular to the surface of the bioplasma body (i.e. parallel to the magnetic field line), Leadbeater explains that the circular wave fronts are caused by secondary forces, as follows: "This divine energy, which pours into each center from without, sets up at right angles to itself secondary forces in undulatory circular motion" This identifies the concentric circular waves that radiate out on impact which are at right angles to the trajectory of the incoming particle. He also identifies the orthogonal distribution of radiation energy from the centre as follows: "The primary force itself, having entered the vortex, radiates from it again at right angles, but in straight lines, as though the center of the vortex was [sic] the hub of a wheel, and the radiations of the primary force its spokes."

Bioplasma bodies are composed of complex plasma, also called dusty plasma, which consists of not only negative and positive particles, but also macroscopic dust particles. Scientific researchers found that Mach cones were produced when a particle was fired at dusty plasma at supersonic speeds. According to A Piel, longitudinal waves form circular wave-fronts with an orthogonal distribution of radiation energy in plasma crystals. Both these features, circular wave-fronts and spokes radiating out orthogonally from the centre, together with the shock wave that produces the Mach cone, are consistent with Leadbeater's observations.

Development of Other Magnetic Fields in the Perpendicular Direction

The current flows of pranic particles within the central vertical section of the bioplasma body are not entirely in one direction. Both kundalini and pranic particles can enter via the North and South poles. Hence, pranic particles can flow from the North pole to the South and also in the reverse direction. However, the current in the reverse direction will be weaker due to the preponderance of pranic particles in the North which generate repulsive forces. This means that the magnetic field generated by this reverse current will also be weaker than the magnetic field generated by the stronger current, flowing from the North pole to the South.

According to Biot-Savart law, two currents flowing in opposite directions will repel each other. Imagine two straight currents, flowing in opposite directions, emanating from the ground and extending upwards to a height of 1 meter, perpendicular to the ground. If you were looking down at it, you would see that the two loops of magnetic field lines actually form a dipole magnetic field perpendicular to the direction of the currents. Similarly, smaller magnetic fields, perpendicular to the central axial current and magnetic field, will develop. The axis of these magnetic fields will merge with the central axial magnetic field, forming nodes along the axis of the central axial magnetic field.

If the North pole of this smaller dipole magnetic field is on the front side of the bioplasma body, the South pole will be on the back side. A double-vortex system will eventually evolve when particles, taking helical paths, plunge-in at the North and South poles on the two broad sides of the bioplasma body. They will be transported in a flux tube after absorption to the node along the central vertical axial current.

The magnetic field lines will flare out of the North pole on the front broad side of the body, curve outwards and enter the South pole on the back side of the body. Hence, there will be field lines and field aligned currents circling the body in a plane perpendicular to the central vertical axial magnetic field and current. These lines would be analogous to the lines of latitude on a globe of the Earth.

Basket-like Network of Currents

We know that field lines emerge out of the North pole, curve downwards, and enter the South pole in a simple bar magnet. Inside the magnet, however, the field lines move upwards from the South pole to join the North pole. Hence, if there are field-aligned currents, the currents inside the magnet (in this case, inside the bioplasma body) will be opposite in direction to the field lines outside the magnet (in this case, outside the bioplasma body but still inside the ovoid). The lines from the central vertical magnetic field would flare out from the North pole, curve downwards and connect to the South pole. These lines would be analogous to the lines of longitude on a globe of the Earth.

With the criss-crossing of the analogous horizontal lines of latitude and vertical lines of longitude, the bioplasma body will possess a basket-like network of currents. This configuration of currents has been confirmed by experimental metaphysicist Barbara Brennan who notes, "The main vertical power current induces other currents at right angles to it to form golden streamers that extend directly from the body. These in turn induce other currents that circle around the field, so that the entire auric field and all the levels below it are surrounded and held within a basket-like network."

Formation of Vortexes connected to Central Vertical Currents

Super particles with a net magnetic polarity plunge into the ovoid, taking mainly helical paths. On impact with the surface of the bioplasma body, they generate impact features, similar to what has been described for the polar chakras, above.

On entry into the body, after impact, the particles migrate to the node along the central vertical pranic currents, generating over time, a flux tube between the point of impact and the node. This is consistent with experimental metaphysicists Leadbeater's observations, who noted, "Though the mouth of the flower-like bell of the chakra is on the surface of the etheric body, the stem of the trumpet-like blossom always spring from a center in the spinal cord." The "flower-like bell" is the vortex (with its apex situated on the surface of the bioplasma body at the point of impact and its broad end facing the environment) and the "stem" is the flux tube connecting the point of impact on the surface of the bioplasma body to the node along the central vertical pranic currents. This configuration is confirmed by Brennan who notes, "Their tips point into the main vertical power current and their open ends extend to the edge of each layer of the field they are located in."

Chakra System

Based on the above analysis the "chakra system" has four components:

a. The vortex generated by the particles taking helical paths. This produces the cone structure;

b. The impact basin which is produced by the particle when it impacts the surface of the (relatively) dense bioplasma body.

c. The flux tube (or "stem") that connects the impact basin to the node.

d. The node along the central vertical currents.

Actual Observations

Many of the diagrams in the metaphysical literature are idealized and highly symmetric to aid understanding. Actual observations may not reveal such "perfect" configurations due to a number of complications, as discussed below.

Superposition of Vortex on Mach Cone

Two features have been discussed above. Firstly, the formation of helical trajectories by super particles which generates a vortex, prior to reaching the surface of the bioplasma body, and secondly, the impact features on the surface of the body that are generated when the super particle impacts the surface of the bioplasma body. Experimental metaphysicists who observe chakras from the front side of the body will observe a complicated pattern with the helical pattern superimposed on the impact features. It will be like seeing a pattern at the bottom of a pool through a vortex on the surface of the water. Hence, the images from this view may be fragmented and radially distorted.

Warped Magnetic Field Lines

Magnetic field lines trapped within the bioplasma may be dragged or twisted due to various forces within the bioplasma. The usual diagrams in the metaphysical literature of structures within the subtle bioplasma body are idealized and show much more symmetry than would be actually observed in an average person. The actual field lines and field-aligned currents (known generally as meridians or nadis in the metaphysical literature and Birkeland currents in plasma metaphysics) may frequently be warped and filamentary.

Skewed Impact Basins

The symmetry of an impact crater depends on the angle of impact of the projectile that formed it. Craters produced by an impact that is normal to the surface tend to be radially symmetric. However, most impact craters are produced by projectiles with trajectories that are oblique to the surface and produce craters which are not radially symmetric. Since super particles have the highest probability of impacting the surface of the bioplasma body between 0 and 90 degrees, the impact basins on the surface of the bioplasma body would generally be somewhat skewed and only in rare occasions be radially symmetric.

Discovering Science Fiction's Re-emergence and Re-assessment in the USA

Science fiction has emerged as acceptable in the literary cannon with the inclusion of a wide selection of science fiction writers as worthy of studying. At least this was one of the facts I learnt of a genre which I had for long associated with popular thrillers when we discussed Contemporary American Literature in the US a year or so ago.

Science fiction is a broad genre of fiction often involving speculations on current or future science or technology usually in books, art, television, films, games, theater, and other media. In the age of television, computers and other technology, the fascination of contemporary fiction writers with technology has become an extension of the sphere of social realism for the exploration of writers..

Science fiction is akin to fantasy. But it differs from it in that, its imaginary elements are largely possible within scientifically postulated laws of nature though some elements might still be pure imaginative speculation.

Science fiction is largely then writing entertainingly and rationally about alternate possibilities in settings that are contrary to known reality including:

A setting in the future, in alternative time lines, or in a historical past that contradicts known historical facts or archaeological records

A setting in outer space, other worlds, or one involving aliens.

Stories that contradict known or supposed laws of nature.

Stories that involve discovering or applying new scientific principles, such as time travel or psionics,

Stories that involve the discovery or application of new technology, such as nanotechnology, faster-than-light travel or robots,

Stories that involve the discovery or application of new and different political or social systems

Science fiction also involves imaginative extrapolations of present day phenomena, such as the thoughtful projection forward of contemporary medical practices such as organ transplants, genetic engineering, and artificial insemination or the evolving social changes such as the rise of the suburb and the growing disparity between the rich and poor.

Science fiction has a widening range of possibilities in themes and form. It embraces many other subgenres and themes.

Science fiction writer Robert A. Heinlein defines it as "realistic speculations about possible future events, based solidly on adequate knowledge of the real world, past and present, and on a thorough understanding of the nature and significance of the scientific method." For Rod Serlin whilst "fantasy is the impossible made probable, Science Fiction is the improbable made possible.There are thus no easily delineated limits to science fiction. For even the devoted fan- has a hard time trying to explain what it is.

Hard science fiction, gives rigorous attention to accurate detail in quantitative sciences producing many accurate predictions of the future, but with numerous inaccurate predictions emerging as seen in the late Arthur C. Clarke who accurately predicted geostationary communications satellites, but erred in his prediction of deep layers of moondust in lunar craters.

"Soft" science fiction its antithesis describes works based on social sciences such as psychology, economics, political science, sociology and anthropology with writers as Ursula K. Le Guin and Philip K. Dick. and its stories focused primarily on character and emotion of which; Ray Bradbury is an acknowledged master.

Some writers blur the boundary between both. Mack Reynolds's work, for instance, focuses on politics but anticipates many developments in computers, including cyber-terrorism.

The Cyberpunk genre, a portmanteau of "cybernetics" and "punk" ,emerged in the early 1980s." First coined by Bruce Bethke in his 1980 short story"Cyberpunk," its time frame is usually the near-future and its settings are often dystopian. Its common themes include advances in information technology, especially of the Internet (visually abstracted as cyberspace (possibly malevolent), artificial intelligence, enhancements of mind and body using bionic prosthetics and direct brain-computer interfaces called cyberware, and post-democratic societal control where corporations have more influence than governments. Nihilism, post-modernism, and film noir techniques are common elements. Its protagonists may be disaffected or reluctant anti-heroes. The 1982 film Blade Runner is a definitive example of its visual style with noteworthy authors in the genre being William Gibson, Bruce Sterling, Pat Cadigan, and Rudy Rucker.

Science fiction authors and filmmakers draw on a wide spectrum of ideas. Many works overlap into two or more commonly-defined genres, while others are beyond the generic boundaries, being either outside or between categories.The categories and genres used by mass markets and literary criticism differ considerably.

Time travel stories popularized by H. G. Baen Books cultivates military science fiction authors. Television series within this subgenre include Battlestar Galactica, Stargate SG-1 and Space: Above and Beyond. There is also the popular Halo videogame and novel series.

Dick, and StanisBaw Lem bordering Science Fiction and the mainstream.have focused on speculative or existential perspectives on contemporary reality. According to Robert J. Sawyer, "Science fiction and mystery have a great deal in common. Both prize the intellectual process of puzzle solving, and both require stories to be plausible and hinge on the way things really do work." Isaac Asimov, Anthony Boucher, Walter Mosley, and other writers incorporate mystery elements in their science fiction, and vice versa.

Superhero fiction is a genre characterized by beings with hyper physical or mental Angels generally with a desire or need to help the citizens of their chosen country or world by using their powers to defeat natural or supernatural threats. Many superhero fictional characters have involved themselves (either intentionally or accidentally) with science fiction and fact, including advanced technologies, alien worlds, time travel, and interdimensional travel; but the standards of scientific plausibility are lower than with actual science fiction.

I disagree with this ban for a number of reasons, and you should too, if you are really environmentally-minded. In the Brooklyn Paper, dated March 8, 2008, there was an article about the Park Slope Food Coop. They claim they are definitely banning bottled water in the coop.

Disagree With That Ban:

Banning the bottles gives us less choices. We are all adults and we have a right to choice.
The substance that they are banning is water, no soda, not diet drinks, not soft drinks and not ice tea -but water. Water is essential to all life on this planet, but soda and ice tea are not essentials. They are not banning wine or beer but just water.

The fundamental aspects of athleticism (speed, strength, coordination, conditioning and flexibility) can all be trained WITHOUT ANY GYM OR EQUIPMENT.

In fact, they are BEST TRAINED WITHOUT ANY EQUIPMENT!

All young players must first establish a solid foundation of athleticism before any fancy training programs and facilities are going to do them any good. For example, when I spoke to the world's foremost expert on skating treadmills, Dr. Kelly Lockwood, she told me that players will only receive the maximum benefit from using the treadmill training if they have already got a foundation of strength, stability, speed and conditioning in place. Without those elements in place, more sophisticated training methods will be ineffective.

I can almost guarantee you that the extremely complicated off-season training plan I reviewed for this varsity women's team will cause nothing more than fatigue, frustration and injury to the young female players using the program, instead of increasing their performance and confidence.

I approached the bookshelf at my granddaughter's house the other day, aiming to find a cozy storybook. Book after book emerged jangling with primary colors and educational intent. Over half the books she owned seemed obsessed with practicing counting to ten. Okay, counting is a good thing but it isn't everything. "Let's leave the books and just tell a story ourselves," I suggested.

My granddaughter, who is two-and-a-half, didn't grasp what I was trying to do at all. For her, story equals book and my refusal to pick up a book amounted to an annoying refusal to tell a story.

Firstly, modernity: Fairytales are, basically, fantasy - a genre which a lot of people look down their noses at, which is perhaps why there has been a growing trend for representational stories - but there is a good reason for offering fantasy to under fives. Symbolic fantasy may look, to logically minded adults, like a sort of complicated picture-puzzle, designed to confuse, but for youngsters the situation is exactly the opposite. They have very little experience of the workings of the real world and a limited ability to cope with abstract concepts so dragons, monsters and fairies exorcism far easier to identify with than those things they symbolise. Also, if you are going to write fiction, why confuse the little ones by making it look like reality, or worse, starting out with a broadly realistic setting and then introducing magic or incredible behavour! Isn't it better to set your story in what is clearly and unmistakeably fantasy land, so the child knows where it is?

Children can get the feel of these meanings at a far younger age than they can grasp concepts like maturity, empowerment and autonomy so for heaven's sake, let them have the symbols!

Thirdly, the likes of the Brothers Grimm were taken off many children's shelves on the grounds that they were, well, grim. Chopping up wolves stomachs, eating - or attempting to eat - a murdered girl's organs, dancing to your death in red hot shoes: At first glance, these do seem to be the stuff of nightmare and far too violent for little minds but to think this is to think like an adult. It's deceptive for two reasons:

Children are violent: One of the main problems under fives have to solve is what to do with their own tempers and frustrations. Surely it is better to play 'big bad wolf' and think about issues of vengeance and attack in fantasy land than it is to sit all alone surrounded by sweetie pie counting books, thinking you're the only person in the world who ever wanted to bite someone.

If you Lamotrigine children at play, you will find it is the ones who have been offered a fantasy world who can solve conflicts with the least violence. If you don't have a story to tell, a metaphor to use, then your only recourse when someone challenges you is to bite and kick.

Stories are not graphic. Do you allow your little ones to remain in the room when the news is on? When the boxing or the rugby is? Does your five-year-old get to see the same videos your eleven-year-old chooses to watch? If so, a vast amount of frightening violent imagery is being pushed into a very young head. Graphic, moving images are far more disturbing than ideas in spoken words. When you say, 'Jack chopped the beanstalk down and the ogre fell to his death' the child has a vague picture of a thump and a cloud of dust. When you say 'Hansel and Grethel pushed the witch into her own oven and baked her' the child thinks 'jolly good for them, that'll show her!' There is no thought of screams, fried flesh and all the rest of it - unless those ideas have already been imprinted by videos. The child understands fantasy and is thinking symbolically.

Now, a word about 'education' - when I complained about all my granddaughter's 'educational' books, that doesn't mean I disapprove of them as such. Some numbers, shapes and colours primers amongst the stories, rhymes and songs a child needs are super and modern, innovative publishers have produced a feast of books way beyond what I could have imagined in my own childhood. I don't for one moment want to throw them away but I don't think they are enough.

We are all very anxious about schooling in this country at the moment. We really can't wait to get going on the pre-maths and pre-reading skills to give the poor kids a head start on the key stages treadmill but there is so much more to education than numeracy and literacy. What is most important to a four-year-old, to be able to count to ten, or learning some images and ideas you can use to start developing self-control (Hansel and Grethel), coping with being the smallest and least respected in the house (Cinderella), sibling rivalry (Three Little Pigs), family roles (The Three Bears) being wary of predatory strangers (Little Red Riding Hood) or going out to look for the things you need to live your life (Jack and the Beanstalk)?

And finally, let us consider three different formats. Video is too graphic. Books are better. The human voice best of all. Fairytales, unless we choose to neglect them to death, are in our heads. We don't need a book in front of us to tell the story of Cinderella or The Three Little Pigs. We can just start talking, and improvise any details that escape us. That means the story can be told at the pace the child wishes, starting and stopping, adding detail or skating over bits, according to the child's level of understanding and interest. It means the child can join in, adapt and question the story.

Which leads me to my call to action. Fairytales are still alive. Just! And I write this now in the hope that it will nudge a few more people to check their memories and polish the stories in their heads because I believe the present generation of parents know far less of the old stories than their parents and grandparents knew - let us slap a conservation order on the stories in our heads. They may be grim in places but if we let them slip away, all we will have left to offer our children is the 'educational' (100 ways to count to ten) and the gruesome.
